Food was fantastic. Views were beautiful. Valet wasn’t available and parking was full. Had to wait for staff to come to the front to seat us and we were standing for awhile being ignored. Finally got to seat and when we asked to sit at a certain free table. We were told talk to the server. Server did tell us she forgot about us (had to ask for refills and the bill). I don’t think we were important. However I was jealous of the services everyone around us was getting. It was our first time there and even though food was fabulous and views were beautiful. I’ll try a different place next time.

We stopped for lunch after an event in Tampa. First time here! The atmosphere is unique with an huge Aloha sign on the ceiling above our table. The booths are cozy and private. The view outside is beautiful, but too hot for today. We ordered the Manhattan sushi roll and the southwest smash burger. Amanda, our server paired my sushi roll with some excellent sauces; best sushi roll I’ve ever had! My husband’s burger was awesome & sloppy, which he absolutely loves! We’ll definitely be back!

We visited Hula Bay for the first time two weeks ago. It was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful with lots of beach vibes. Our food was perfect and our service couldn’t have been better. We noticed they had docks so the following weekend we got a group of our friends together and took the boat over from Palmetto. It was a hour drive over and an hour back but it was completely worth it. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want a true tropical experience.

Overall rating: 4.3 Visiting from NYC I can’t remember why I came, other than I wanted a view of the pier while eating. Far away from town, so when I got a car it was a tad awk. There was no one there so I’d think the service would be reasonable.. it was not. It was hard to decide and they didn’t have any recommendations.. they also forgot my drink order and was kinda rude when I asked the second waitress about it. I ordered a few sushi pieces but didn’t like any of them. Too much imitation crab & toppings. I was fortunate when I went to the bathroom bc when I came back almost half was gone! the seagulls ate them. Kinda think the staff should say that. Won’t be coming back when I visit the area again.

The server Christine was amazing and did a good job at providing the best service possible but the food just wasn’t there. Sushi wasn’t fresh and authentic. It was dry and not juicy even with a touch of soy sauce. The noodle bowl was very tangy and overflowing with orange flavored sauce. The chicken was raw and the noodles came out cold the first time so we had to send it back. The manager did a good job of remedying the situation by giving us 50% off the noodles and re-cooking it but the quality of the food just wasn’t there for a bowl of noodles above $22. The view was nice and the vibes were good but don’t come here for the food
